There's no way the 3d will receive jelly bean. HTC would have to work on a two separate projects to get it working. Sense 3.6 with jelly bean just doesn't make sense. (No pun intended :P) just go buy the evo 4g lte cause HTC is in a little trouble right now..

And if I'm wrong... well crap

Even if HTC tells us we will get the update, I still wouldn't hold my breath. And after making us wait for months they might just decide to do a DHD and just tell us to go f*** ourself.

The HTC EVO 3D just received the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. Users of the Sprint version though are unfortunately still waiting for the software to roll out. It will arrive though.

This is a sign that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean could be in the mix for the HTC EVO 3D but owners should temper expectations and consider the fact that the phone is now over a year old and Sprint has some new 4G LTE devices to attend to.

Never say never though.

never though.

Never! We can be lucky to have ics. JB development would be too expensive for just a few customers which bought the evo 3D

Won't happen. I'll be luck to get it for my EVO 4G LTE before Google's onto the next version.
