Mic doesn't work unless your on speaker

Me and my wife have ions running ics and the Mic doesn't work. Has anyone experienced this too.

Nope flashed ICS and rooted with no issues with the mic.

Just found out the mic stopped working. Cheap phone. They are shipping me out a replacement. Woohoo.

Same thing happened to me. Hopefully this unit will hold up better than the last one.

I have now heard this a couple times. Hope if something goes bad att will fix the phone cause I didn't buy the extended warranty.

Just had my second ION go bad. Same issue. I think Sony has a major issue. Im not doing anything to it. It just goes bad after a month and an half.

As the phone tells you when you have xloud on and volume all the way up it can damage the device or your hearing. I have found out that the frequency the phone can put out is higher then the Mic, earpiece can Handel.

I was talking talking to a technical associate for rogers and the xloud plus full volume can cause an audio serg for all speakers mics and cameras.

So the only issue Sony has is giving us great output.
Remember the device warns you so.
