and why cant he flash 4ext recovery via fastboot commands or using PB99IMG method?

download the PB99IMG 4ext recovery in my sig and follow instructions or extract the zip file and flaah the recovery.img via fastboot. its worth a shot, like said above, 4ext has way more features and options plus has usb unbrick option

he can but I really doubt it will help him, if I remember well, neither my computer was able to find the sd card and only format helped. Then it is for sure his choice if he want different recovery or not. I just think that it is not mandatory since this rom is working like a charm, installed via oldie CWM

Using old outdated tools and recoveries and then advertising those old tools and recoveries will only worsen the headache to the developers as they would get a lot more requests for help and bug reports that are generated solely because of those old tools/recoveries. Please help yourself and the developer by upgrading everything !

I installed this ROM via CWM with no problems, I am not S-OFF so therefore cannot upgrade to 4EXT Recovery and have to work with what I've got

Oh come on.... when you install ROM with no error log, then it does NOT matter what kind of recovery you have since then it is not using your recovery for anything... (if you are using rom daily without probs)...

CWM is fine for installing a rom but basicaly 4ext recovery has better features, most devs recommend it (coz its better & more reliable) it can actually partition ur sdcard.. unlike CWM. It gets regular updates, usb unbrick option... Its just way better in every way so why not just change.

I am not saying that new 4ext isn't better than old CWM, I am sure it is better but please don't say weird things. I partitioned my sd card in OLD CWM, it has that feature, only allingned it from ext3 to ext4 by cool's tool and everything fine.

Hi all,
Coming from Marange ICS ROM, I flashed the PA version for android and I like it very much. I'm using the desire as my personal media player and sometimes as a spare phone. Been using it as a daily driver ever since.

Just sharing with you guys that my stock camera does not load. It keeps on crashing. I installed camera360 and use it as a replacement camera.

Anyway, how do you guys activate the soft keys for the desire on PA. I think I am missing something here or there isnt any softkeys yet. Can someone them to me how to activate it?
