NEWS FEATURED ON THE PORTAL. THANKS TO POORCOLLEGEGUY:

http://www.xda-developers.com/androi...galaxy-s-plus/

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 */
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

haha,i am also new to the android world. just 4 months. about your issue,did you install jdk6 and android sdk properly? i hope you know that after you download the sdk,you have to you need to go to the directory,where you extracted it. then press ctrl+h to show hidden files,then up and open up your .bashrc file and add these lines at the bottom of the file.

# Android tools
export PATH=${PATH}:~/android-sdk/tools
export PATH=${PATH}:~/android-sdk/platform-tools
export PATH=${PATH}:~/bin

i never got such an error. if it is not resolved,then pm me.

Ok, let`s get crackin`!

1) Phone boots up normally
2) Videos do not work from the web browser on YouTube
3) Music is played and the phone detects when the headphones are connected but sound comes out of the speaker.
When the headphones are disconnected, the music stops, thus the os detects the headphones but does not send audio.
4) Internal & External cards are detected and used
5) USB Mounting works on both internal and external storage
6) Without apps, ROM feels zippy and, may I say, "buttery"
7) Kernel is still 2.6.35.14 (?!)

Overall, it is a great start for CM10 on our device. The lack of headphone support and youtube playback is a downer for me, thus I will return to Biohazard v3.
Can not wait ffor the next build, whenever it comes out! (I just hope they will not come when my exams start rolling in )

@nguyenchienbig: Sow your post after I wrote my impressions. Are you a psychic or something? )
