Sometimes stock kernel and stock rom gives the best battery life. It's true, even though in theory it shouldn't. Depends what type of kernel it is 'performance or battery'.

But seriously, 10 hours screen on time? Defiantly on par with the Razr Maxx.

Youre half right lol, an excellent custom rom with the stock kernel is usually the best, like the S3. If someone like Mike 1986 were to make a rom for this note, I wouldnt be surprised if we can reach 11 hours of screen time.
