CyanMobile is an aftermarket ROM like CyanogenMod, MIUI, JoyOS, LewaOS and others that are built from source...
Absolutely built from source based on CyanogenMod 7 (Gingerbread v2.3.7) and modifications from AOSP and AOKP

and require user feedback to fix the bugs.
Reporting Bugs

Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running as stock as possible. This means no custom kernel, no custom framework modification, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.
- Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
- If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
- Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. The following is a useful format to follow.

this is a step-by-step configuration guide for best cyanmobile experience -
so here goes
remember, this is my own way of configuration and my own taste. But keeping best interest for all, i posted a general guide
1. disable gps and data lol XD [saves lots of battery] [cyanmobile locator continuously drains battery through gps]
2. go to setting/application/preferred install location/ and choose an option according to ur wush >> this is for system integrated moving of apps into sd card or ext partition. [NO NEED OF ANY SCRIPT LIKE AMARRULZ or APPS2SD etc...]
3. go to cyanmobile setting/ application settings >> do the following =
tick allow application moving
choose install location
do not tick permission management [might give a FC]
use phone goggles if u want to filter calls/msg's
4. now go into display settings and do the following -
tick bravia engine
rest all options depend on your taste
5. go back to input settings and do the following =
go to long press home settings/check task switcher and choose no. of recent apps to 15
rest depends on ur taste
6. now i love this part ! coz there's huge amount of customization and more to come in the every update from Squadzone !
go back to interface and do the following =
now check the following..... power prompt
airplane toggles
profile toggle
power saver toggle
hibernate and suspend toggles
now go into notification power widget settings/...here u will find different styles to show ur notification toggles. will depend on ur taste choose wisely
best option is bottom layout.. wont crowd the screen due to JB power clock.
7. go back into status bar tweaks and do the following =
uncheck date
check to show all icons
choose center clock for best view
choose the clock color depending on ur theme
clock font size and am/pm style depends on u
scroll down a bit and u will find carrier lable type...in that choose custom label
now u can write ur own name as carrier lable and u can always display it on status bar !
u can also choose its colour, font size and postion i.e; center left or right.
check the status bar brightness control
now from here all the customization depends on u
u can choose status bar font size, icon size, HEIGHT, backgroud
u can also the type of notification dropdown appearence according to ur taste !
u can also change the ticker color/transparency
option to enable/disbale JB power clock in notification widget.
NOTE = if the status bar doesnt show after all this configuration there's an option to restart the status bar. If that also doest work simply do a "hot reboot" by long pressing the power menu button and navigating to this option. Hot reboot is for restarting the framework and systemUI in case something like above happens
->> now go back into interface menu and do the following again =
render effect depends on u
check reflow after pinch [this is for text reflow while using stock web browser]
again the type of font u choose depends on u ....note that the font selected changes the whole system and frameworks appearence, giving it a whole new look
go into overscroll effect/choose bounce and glow
overscroll color to watevr u want
overscroll weight to heavy
u can choose ur own bootanimation and shutdown animations and sounds directly through this menu instead of the manual method via root explorer.
8. now go back to cyanmobile settings/lockscreens
there are 10 different type of lockscreens in this rom
choose watever satisfies ur liking
u can customize the appearence of the lockscreen wit different styles. and can also the type of locksreen for the incoming calls
rest all depends on u according to ur taste and choice
the newly backported ICS and JB are a must try features of this rom !
9. now go into performance menu ! and do the following =
choosing governer, min/max freq on ur choice
NOTE ->> a brief description is given below each option to describe its actions == choose wisely
tick the following =
JIT
surface dithereing
16-bit tranparency
purging of assets
lock home in memory
gmaps hack
kernel samepage merging [KSM]
choose KSM sleep time value as 3500
KSM page scan value as 512
VM heap size 64m
battery polling with 1 minute
scrolling cache as force disable
low mwmory killer [LMK] to hard gaming...[gives u more free RAM]
I/O sched as sio
SD read ahead size depends on the type of SD card u use and its size too.
but choose like this in general =
2GB class4 card = 2048
4GB class 4 = 4096
2GB, 4GB, 8GB class 10 and above = 8192
10. go back to cyanmobile settings/power saver and do the following =
check power saver
choose the type of action u want for mobile data, sync and wifi when the screen is off
choose the delay for actions
11. go back to cyanmobile settings/ sound and do this =
check the following
notification focus
silent
lock volume keys
SMART PHONE CALLS [THIS IS ****ING AWESOME BACKPORT FROM SGS 3. USER CAN DIRECTLY CALL A PERSON BY HOLDING IT NEAR THE EAR !!! ]
back button end call
menu button answer call
allow incall UI touch
loop ringtone
call me louder
vibrate during calls
flip to mure ringer and allarm !
12. u can get access to various tools in cyanmobile settings/system such as =
automatic shutdown
battery callibration
touch and compass callibration settings
spare parts and etc
13. lastly go into cyanmobile settings/tablet tweaks and do the following =
u can place the soft buttons in the status bar
NAVIGATION BAR [THIS IS ANOTHER ****ING AWESOME BACKPORT FROM HONEYCOMB 3.0]
in nav bar, when u long press the buttons, a separate tablet view menu will pop-up for all the shortcuts
u can choose the height and background color according to ur choice
also to override the nav bar png's color is the new option
like in AOKP rom's each of the nav bar button can be configured to hav a specific function/app assigned to it...
Last but not the least TO GET COMPLETE ICS/JB LOOK =
install holo launcher
install ICS MDPI T-Engine Theme by Achep or Sonny
do the above stuff !
