Root shouldn't be needed while in recovery.

I have removed apps and restored user apps including settings and home screen on a stock HTC firmware but with only cwm installed. All went fine

I found one issue restoring my backed up app all app restore but some need to be reinstalled because some FC

App:
Skype
Píxel express
Photo editor
Waze
Instagram

App not restored:

Google maps
Navitel

Any idea...

No idea why that happens for you. Did you restore data for those apps?

Maybe fix permissions in recovery will help or clearing data for each app that gives FC.

Or those specific apps must be installed and not just copied to /data/app.

Have a look in Internal/external sdcard/ROMCleaner/Backup/data/app if Google Maps and Navitel is in there at all.

Google Maps usually comes with the ROM as default, unless it isn't inside your original zip file. Am I right?

I just ran the Backup Tool, and I confirm Google maps isn't inside.

Mmm... As far as I have used ROM cleaner, it doesn't include any apps. You have to run the backup first before you run the ROM cleaner if you want all your apps to be installed after the cleaner.

Correct. When selecting ROMCleaner in fact there is another option to choose if u want to restore from your backups - Wi-Fi, apps, accounts.

No reason why it shouldn't work if you meet the requirements in OP. Nothing to bork anyway, but just make sure you have a nand or the original Rom to flash

I got this error message when trying to backup with my Note2 N7105. I do not have an ext sd card. Any idea why?
