yes. CWM or TWRP.

I was running Jedi X 7.2 .... I tried flashing this via CWM and now I'm stuck at the samsung logo....

Jedi used a custom kernel ( saberkernel )

Is a kernel included in this, or must I flash a new kernel?

Any help would be appreciated.

boot.img is included. did you wipe?

i wiped my davilk cache and my cache then flashed. do i need to do a data wipe too?

No. Data wipe is not required, but if you are getting stuck at logo, might as well give it a try. Don't forget to nandroid.

Hmm I just tried a reflash..... x2 cache cleaned x2 dalvik cache clean then flashed. same issue....I guess i will try a factory reset.
