Damn, I just installed RC7 yesterday, and had a bunch of things to post about it. Guess I'll hold off until I try out RC8.

All the ZIPs are downloaded... now just waiting for my TWRP backup to finish, then I'm good to go. In the meantime, there is something I want to ask, since I've seen it with a lot of ROMs. If using Titanium Backup to restore apps is not recommended, what is the alternative? I don't mind reinstalling apps from Google Play if I have to, but what about associated data (e.g., game saves, usage logs, preference settings, etc.)? I can understand not restoring system data and apps willy-nilly, but a TB restore should be safe for user apps, I would think? The only system data I restore would be SMS and call logs, since those aren't stored online with my Google account.

You can just restore the data to the specific apps from Titanium Backup after you install them from the market, that's what I do anyways, and i do it mainly for the games.

Erik

Is there really a difference between installing an app from the market, and restoring app-only from TB?

Furthermore, has it been proven that restoring data causes problems with THIS rom?(JB to JB,not including system apps, although most stuff in green work flawlessly )?
