Install
Required
Your device Must be Unlocked.
CWM Recovery or any other recovery must be installed (search for a guide how to do it)
This procedure is only for the Generic N7100, Don’t try this Root on the OTHER variants Like N7105 and all.
Connect your Handset Via USB cable and Mount the Memory Of the Handset and copy the above two Downloaded files in the Root of the Memory Card.
Now its time to Turn off the device and Boot in the recovery Mode
Just Hold-Down the Volume UP Button Home Button followed by Power Buttons to enter in the recovery Mode.
Its always advised to Create the nandroid Backup of the Installed ROM, if in case anything Goes wrong then you can easily restore from that Backup.
Perform full wipe
Know How? > Select the wipe data/factory reset option in the recovery Menu >> and confirm on the next screen.
Navigate to the Main Menu by selecting the “Go Back”, and now choose the “Install Zip from SD Card” >> “Choose Zip from SD Card” and just select the downloaded MIUI ROM, It will require Confirmation to continue the Installation Process.
Reboot into your new MIUI ROM, complete the setup wizard. Then boot into CWM again
In CWM repeat "Install Zip from SD Card" >> "Choose Zip from SD Card" Install the Google Apps "gapps"
Navigate to the Main Menu by select the Option 'Go Back' and 'Reboot the system'
If in case you are not satisfied from the MIUI ROM, then you can easily revert back either via restoring the nandroid Back or you can flash the Stock Firmware
Questions
How to use Multiview/Multitasking?
You must be on your homescreen, not in an app. Press & hold your back button for 1 sec and the MultiView sidebar will appear on the left
Apps requesting root are Force-Closing
Install SuperSU from market, then open it once, it will fail to obtain root. Go back to your homescreen, open Permission Manager > Manage ROOT Persmissions > SuperSU > Allow. And make sure on top the "ROOT" the toggle is ON. Another solution would be flashing SuperSU CWM by Chainfire according to xenkato. Updating your su binary will lead to failed MIUI updates in the future, because the binary will not be the same. If future OTA Updates fail due to this, you can simply flash the latest full MIUI ROM without wiping as a workaround.
How to enable AirView
In Settings > Settings > S Pen click on the text-label "Air view" and not on the ON/OFF Switch. Another sub-menu will open with more ON/OFF switches you can toggle seperately.

I've had MIUI on my last two devices over the last 3 years (HTC Desire and SGS2) and absolutely loved it....
But, I'm not sure about getting it on the note 2. I don't think I could live without the pen functionality and touchwiz has some nice little touches that I do like (smartstay, for example, is much more useful than I thought). Also not sure I could live without the camera software (although MIUI may keep this in).
For my previous two devices, MIUI was a huge upgrade in terms of UI and functionality, but with the note 2, I think it mightn't give me that much when compared to stock.

Me too, Nexus S, Note 1, Note 2.

Me too, that's why I use the official MIUI Beta (leak) on my N7000, because MIUI decided to use Samsung base and not CyanogenMod anymore. TouchWiz Framework is included and S-Pen features completely working. Even something like "show little pointer 1cm above screen when using s-pen" is possible on the N7000 MIUI, which even the original N7000 doesn't have.
MIUI does the same for the N7100 release: Samsung base, TouchWiz integrated, SPen fully supported.

MIUI included the Samsung camera app in N7000 Beta, I guess the same happens on the N7100 release. You can still flash the Android 4.2 Camera besides that.

For all my devices it was a huge upgrade in terms of UI and non-geeky-crippeled-too-black-interface. And just out of the box integration of useful features like Call Recording, Blocking, Firewall, DnD Mode, Guest Mode, Bright design (for sunny days it's better than the AOSP black, and less ugly too), Themes, no tinkering with buggy stuff, only stable stuff integrated.
First thing I was hating when I used my N7100 was the ugly TouchWiz, the useless Apps installed, the old fashioned UI concept (create a folder with -> edit screen -> menu -> add folder)... The unofficial N7100 MIUI build from yure was a huge improvement for my N7100 after 1 Week... I would never go back to Samsung stock ROM.

So any news about the beta they are testing @ official MIUI? I mean did it have a lot of bugs/hickups?
I know it's forbidden to ask for ETA's but is there any chance the beta will leak out to the public like with the N7000?
My hands are itching to flash this goodness.
