Just to be precise:
Open update script in update 4.2.1 .zip or any other relevant update.
You'll see first of all script checks every system app sum check and signature. So you can avoid system app check by removing part of the code in script at the beginning. Further more you can remove all lines related to recovery in order to preserve cwm recovery if you gonna update via CWM. After flashing update .zip CWM recovery will offer to fix root.
As simple as that.

I've update .zip 4.2.1 which doesn't check system app signature and sum check. Anyone interested just pm.

F-ck yeah, updating my Yakju Gnex in Netherlands, right NAO.

I got it this morning. BT seems better.

I'm still testing my battery drain issue but it just hit me what might have been the problem: I had SMS's in lock screen and I think that drained my battery. After 4.2.1 and removing messages from lock screen battery drainage is back to normal.
