I got bootanimation on my ROM and you can change the animation to a different one if you want as well..the video is my SlimNote2.0 with jellybean bootanimation and you can just change any bootanimation.zip and it will work

I actually flashed your rom last night. Did you keep the original boot sounds for some reason? On my phone at least I had your custom JB boot but it was with the super annoying stock boot sounds. The word thing is that I actually deleted the audio boot sounds in system/media a while ago but those boot sounds remain.

I tried using the boot animation app but wasn't able to get it to work. I would love to get working sound.

Are you on SlimNote or a different ROM?
I use ROMtoolbox for bootanimations and it works

Info 2 How to enable custom boot animations on a stock rom!

Ok, quick tutorial for all you guys wanting custom boot animations (until Kevin has time to write the script)

Just flash JellyBomb... no just kidding.

ok,

nandroid backup - never know what can happen, so backup first.

using root explorer or es file explorer...

Navigate to System/Bin.

rename samsungani to samsungani.bak (or delete)
rename bootanimation to samsungani

Navigate to System/Media

rename bootsamsung.qmg to bootsamsung.bak (or delete)
rename bootsamsungloop.qmg to bootsamsungloop.bak (or delete)
add custom bootanimation.zip of your liking, and fix permissions as you would any other app.

reboot

profit.

What does it mean that I don't have a bootanimation file in SYSTEM/BIN?
