Default Visual Voice Mail Registry settings

The user called lerameur have found that the VVM feature of WP7 / WP8 is enabled be some registry key.

Here are the values for Orange France / Sosh :

Code:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Vmail]
"RegOverridesSIM"=dword:1
"PhoneNumber1"="888"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Phone\VisualVoicemail\RegistrationTable]
"208.01"="ORGFR"
"208.1"="ORGFR"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Phone\VisualVoicemail\RegistrationTable\ORGFR]
"CLSIDProvider"="{039B8E0E-EA5E-4801-96CD-71E7B343F03F}"
"CLSIDAccessor"="{BC371B86-031F-4BD7-9E7D-FB5DF7D1D8C3}"
"IncomingPort"="20481"
"ProtocolVariant"="omtp"
"ClientType"="50"
"DefaultMaxGreetingLength"=dword:000000b4
"InitialSmsDestinationNumber"="21101"
"DeviceType"="6"
With the advices from lerameur, I extracted the values for Bouygues Telecom. Here they are :
Code:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Vmail]
"RegOverridesSIM"=dword:1
"PhoneNumber1"="+33660660001"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Phone\VisualVoicemail\RegistrationTable]
"208.20"="BYTFR"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Phone\VisualVoicemail\RegistrationTable\BYTFR]
"CLSIDProvider"="{039B8E0E-EA5E-4801-96CD-71E7B343F03F}"
"CLSIDAccessor"="{BC371B86-031F-4BD7-9E7D-FB5DF7D1D8C3}"
"IncomingPort"="5499"
"ProtocolVariant"="omtp"
"ClientType"="WP"
"DefaultMaxGreetingLength"=dword:000000b4
"InitialSmsDestinationNumber"="22344"
"DeviceType"="0"
You need to reboot your phone for the changes to take effect.
After reboot, go to Phone -> Settings and switch on VVM.

We should be able to get the values for other operator from branded phones or updates.

Is it possible to extract a firmware update (Nokia FFU for exemple) to read the registry?

I'm searching for Bouygues Telecom values for my personnal use... (I have a new unbranded phone).

If you have a branded phone and a registry editor, you can post the values for yor operator and I'll update this post ^^

Thanks in advance for your help.

Déçu, ça ne marche pas pour moi, avec forfait Orange/Open.
Mise à jour du Mozart vers la Riom dynamics 2.0 (WP7.8), mais pas de MVV!

merci pour l'info!

I've posted this value!
You have to decompress a Nokia Bouygues Telecom 7.x rom from navifirm and you will get this value in oem folder!

Just for information ATT and TMOUS parameters for Visual Voice Mail are include in each roms.

I can't answer, just try to decompress a Nokia (or htc) rom from simple mobile (if it exist).
You'll find the rgu file on oem folder.

No you can't because VVM has to be activated on provider's servers for your account.
