Excellent, I could succesfully restore sub Symbols to the french Samsung keyboard on my Note 2 (GT-N7105). As noted alsewhere, I only needed to edit CscFeature_Sip_EnableSymbolInSecondary to use fr_FR instead of fr since there are two french keyboards available (fr_FR and fr_CA).
There is one thing, though that could be improved: on the french keyboard, the M is the rightmost key on the middle row, instead of the bottom row. As such the bottow row as one fewer key and the middle row one more. But instead of moving the M key to the middle row while retaining its sub key, it loses it and all sub keys on the bottom row are shefted left which pushes the dash ('-', leftmost side of the bottow row on UK keyboard) out. Ooops! And M key as no sub symbol on the french keyboard (see this
And I use that '-' quite a bit (i.e. all the time!
) so it gets quickly annoying to have to tap the Sym key for that one symbol...
If anybody knows of a way to either avoid the shift on the bottom row and move M with it's sub symbols, or assign the dash to the M key, that would be perfect!
