I think I found out why media scanning can be slow at the startup, it's probably due to the v(r) scheduler, as it's a known issue on other phones.

I'm currently using cfq as a scheduler and I face no such issues.

Added topology definitions and features in Lightning kernel, will come in other kernels too.

is the first time, with ics, the temp up to 37°C, playing to asphalt7 and nfs mw.
anyway, at 1380 on antutu i make 9204.

You can flash it just with recovery

You did a very nice job with your kernel, well done

Scored 9500+@1.26 in antutu with my daily NXE4+ ICS ROM.
I think 10k will come very easily with a few tweaks...
