OK, we have safely eliminated Talk as the trouble.

Follow these steps please:

Play Step 1 Download GoogleServicesFramework.apk, AccountAndSyncSettings.apk and GoogleLoginService.apk to your Desktop

Play Step 2 Using Windows Explorer move GoogleServicesFramework.apk, AccountAndSyncSettings.apk and GoogleLoginService.apk from your desktop to /Kindle Drive/Download.

Play Step 3 Using ES File Explorer app, open ES File Explorer on your Kindle. Go to the Setting Menu on ES File Explorer. Choose Root Settings, Select all the options here. A Superuser window will Popup, be sure to click "Allow".

Play Step 4 Now on the Kindle Fire HD use ES File Explorer to move GoogleServicesFramework.apk, AccountAndSyncSettings.apk and GoogleLoginService.apk from /sdcard/Download to /system/app replacing the current versions.

Play Step 5 Next change the permissions on GoogleServicesFramework.apk, AccountAndSyncSettings.apk and GoogleLoginService.apk by long pressing each apk until you see an option window. Select Permissions and change all 3 apk permissions to Owner: Read-Write, Group: Read and Others: Read.

Play Step 6 Install all 3 apk's: GoogleServicesFramework.apk, AccountAndSyncSettings.apk and GoogleLoginService.apk by clicking on each on and choose Install. Click OK to Replace. Ignore any install errors.

Play Step 7 Reboot the Kindle

Audio AVIC (Artificial Intelligent Voice Control) (Alice) - Settings

To All,

We have a large number of questions around AVIC Alice. This application is very powerful but fist it needs

to learn your voice and learn what applications to use. Learning your voice happens over time, some of

the applications need to be setup under the AVIC > Settings Menu. This is a synopsis of the Settings:

Common Settings > This is where you select Language, Calendar Settings, SMS Settings, Temperature
Settings, Choose Search Engine, Choose Navigation, Speaker Mode, and Media Path

Display > This is where you setup the Design and Keep Screen Alive.

Record Settings > This is where you choose functions like Voice Search Box, Wake-up Mode, Record at Start-Up,
Dialog Mode and Play Sounds.

Personal Settings > This is where you will setup the Voice, Assistant Name(Default Alice), Your Name, and Home Address.

Hardware > This is where you setup the Reviver (You can control a home AV Receiver through Voice Commands).

Social Networks > This is where you setup your Facebook login and Facebook Preferences

About Us > This is about the developer and includes their contact informtion.

Is this possible?

Judging by the error, this is what you did. Move the 10 back to /sdcard/download

Then follow our instructions below to reinstall the Google Play Store.
Oh my...looks like I indeed goofed! I tried all 38. You're right. I even ignored the warning to be fresh and not tired! Even my wife warned me to let my brain rest plus i was sick. haha. Gotta pay attention more. Fortunately I got it working again. Thanks!

Cmonsta,

Good job! No worries, you obviously has enough sense to be able to figure out the final issues. We actually

have a warning on the site to do it when you are fresh, bad Cmonsta! Anyway, good work and thank you

for the feedback. The simple words "Thanks!" is powerful and motivates our team to keep improving this

series and keep it growing.

Take Care.

Info 2 Warning - Disable Auto Update on YouTube Application

To All-

We have found a bug on the latest version of YouTube HD. The Bug is through the

Google Play Automatic Update service when it attempts to update YouTube. The

latest version fails on the Kindle Fire HD, so do not attempt the update until we

have had a chance to resolve the problem. In the mean time, disable Automatic

Updates on the YouTube Application through Google Play Store by opening

Google Play Store, search for YouTube, then Uncheck "Allow automatic updating".

We will post a response when the problem has been resolved. If you find

YouTube missing, just reinstall the application using the google_apps

folder or the attached YoutubeHD.apk.

Just completed all the tutorials (beginning with the original rooting tutorial)! Everything seems to be working fine thus far, I haven't really had a chance to run it all through a full exercise. Having said that, tried opening and closing everything and only thing i seem to be having trouble with is Google Earth and Maps not being able to locate my spot. Is that a common thing or have i missed something?

Regardless, just want to say amazing tutorials!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
