Can I install CYNOGENMOD via Odin. Is there a way to install rom except going to recovery on the device? I want to do clean flash but not install stock rom.

If you dont know "how to install a custom rom", read before you brick your tab. Google or this forum is your friend.

I have tried and searching the net. I only find installation via recovery and flashboot.

Check out this video of qbking77. Although he is flashing a different rom, he is showing the proper way to do it.

Custom ROMs are mostly to flash through recovery. But read the OP. I think it helps a little bit or search in YouTube.

As soon as i know there is no way you can install cynogenmode rom via odin. Also trust me there is not really need for that ether as doing it via CWM is so simple!
If you really want to do a fresh install you can flash stock rom via odin then flash CWM via odin and install Cynogenmode rom from CWM, do not forget to flash gapps after you flash Cynogenmode rom!
And before you start doing all of this make sure you back up all you information on you PC so later you can restore it.

Just tested this by wiping my davilk then my cache and finally a full factory reset .... You tube is wizzy - well as can be - and the tablet is quick again.

Not tried my HDMI adaptor yet but either way my advice is that if your having problems after the move to 4.2.2 a reset seems to sort it.

I seem to have updated with mtp turned off, and now I can't turn it on again. That is, I can select the option, but when I reenter the menu it's unchecked again. Tab seems a bit laggy. It's there a way I can fix this without wiping?
