i tried applying update from stock recovery from ext sd card..this is the zip file i tried to flash camera42_patched_v2.zip..but this gives signature error ?? what am i doing wrong ? ps i am not rooted and this is the zip for 4.2 gallery and camera right..did u get camera with photosphere to run yet??

you won't be able to flash custom zip with stock recovery, the only zip you can flash with stock recovery is root for jb as the author managed somehow to sign it.
try to root and push it to /system/app manually

In 4.2 launcher..all my widgets not working :[ ..i like this launcher but anyway to make the widget work ?? i like the stock JB widget

They work fine man, just open the app drawer and swipe to the right until u find widgets, then press one by 2 secs and release In the screen

yeah after rebooting phone..i selected a widget again and put a tick mark on always allow launcher :] now its working..also the weather widget is missing which is available in stock launcher but thats ok because i can scroll wallpaper with 4.2 launcher and its not that slow

I'm still on GB.. but can I try out these 4.2 apps in my phone? Or are these apps only for 4.2 phones only?

yeah man its smooth and touch is responsive but dont u think that checking FORCE GPU RENDERNG AND DISABLE HARDWARE OVERLAY will eat more battery ?? i mean it will be using gpu the whole time and wouldn't it eat a lot of battery ??

Update: I uncheck those, got back to governor/IO that was on first use - and phone is still smooth. Maybe it should take some time for JB to settle down in new home.
