The fix isn't in the rom its the kernel and recovery. All kernels XXELLX and above are supposed to have the fix.

Read the first post it has the info in there.

I know abour SDS and am on affected chip version so I have done everything there is I m on zsemb1(omegav41) pjills recovery Yanks kernel
Now is SDS confirmed to be a software issue and am I supposedly safe as per the info we have to charge all night
So SDS is not caused by overnight charging right ?????
Finally enjoying s3
Yanks kernel
Sotmax v13
Zram enabled
Swap enabled
IMHO just enjoy your phone and your preferred ROM, make use of latest updates from booloaders up (nothing else you can do at the moment), forget about sds, no one knows what it is and what triggers it. JUST FORGET ABOUT SDS and live your life, after all it's just a phone? in other words a tool not a vital element.

First of all thank you guys for your reply. I checked the "about device" settings, and it says i'm up to date. But my Kernel version is XXELLA, also my baseband version. Do i have to update something manually still, or i'm ok-ish at the moment?

Trying to figure out how to stop these sudden freezes...

Full wipe before installing..
ROM: Omega v42
Kernel: The one that comes with Omega v42
CWM: Philz_touch_4.35 (6.0.2.8)
Chip: VTU00M 0xf1

The phone still freezed up randomly. Sometimes within a minute after reboot, other times after a few hours...
I have now installed the SiyahKernel s3-v1.8.9 kernel. The phone seems better, and don't freeze that often, but still freezes...
Now, in a last desperate attempt I've pulled out the SD-Card after the last freeze....

Does anybody know other things i should try?? Other configurations??
