I don't like Picasa being integrated into SecGallery2.apk so I decided to see if I could modify it and remove Picasa.. I was successful!! I've decided to share with the community since I've learned so much and have contributed very little

In this first post is the stock flavor that came with our S III

Instructions:
1. Download and put on phone
2. Boot to Recovery and install the zip
3. Wipe Dalvik
4. Reboot

If you don't like this version, you can download the version in the second post and reflash

These will NOT run side by side

Thanks man I'm about to try it now. For people who use Google+ it's even more annoying because every picture you share shows up on the picasa gallery also.

Edit: Works great!

I don't use Google+ myself, let me try to see if I can rip Picasa out of it too... you can be my tester!

No that's not what I mean, now that you ripped picasa out of the gallery it's already taken care of.

Could not get this to work

Running stock rooted 4.1.1
