so guys i thought this would interest you all...

Sony are busy testing JB build (4.1.2) for the Xperia S...
the firmware will be 6.2.x.x.x
kernel is 3.4.0
most apps i tested and the lockscreen are same as the JB build for the Xperia T....

UPDATES!!!

PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SYSTEM DUMP/ETC...

I DO NOT KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE RELEASED FOR XPERIA S or Acro S or Ion

here are some screenshots from the build...

will keep u posted if something useful turns up...

P.S.: ignore the weird looking font... there was a slight issue while testing...

I do wish that Sony would go with the Google Cyan colours for the notification bar, those old icons really bug me.

Interesting that they're updating to the final 4.1.x rather than the current 4.2.x

Xperia Z looks nice but this trend has put me off buying into the next sony generation, they'll have to prove themselves before i get another sony phone rather than promise that they've learnt from there mistakes

Some say it is because Snapdragon didn't provided 4.2 drivers for S3 chipset.

Nice to see one touch mirroring and power management options.

@Doomlord, are there options like battery stamina mode like in xperia Z or atleast extended standby or something like that?

I am really fed up with android system eating up my battery
