Black screen on changing kernels is an issue for me

This is an awesome rom......
I'm using Lean Kernel with no issues.

Only thing I can't get working is changing the custom colors for battery light, etc.
I can change them, test them just fine.......but the custom color does not change when charging, notifications, etc.

Auto correct makes neak = lean I guess

It's an AOSP ROM you can install only AOSP compatible kernels on it so no stock Samsung kernel.
