That's not a decisive way to tell if its a 7105 as on my 7105 is gives 2 options under network mode
2G,3G,4G
Or
3G only

7105 isn't the only note2 variant to have a 4G band built in so seing 4G does not make it definitely a 7105

As mentioned by others it would say N7105 in the menu (like my 7105 does) if it was one.
but he's got 7100 on the box & you would assume it would say 7100 in the menu so it would be helpful for 7100 owners to clarify what theirs say in settings under "about device".
