Welcome to MIUIv4/AOKP U8160-50-80-20-10-00 ROM thread!
MIUI : Based on a mix of CM9 roms (wildfire, ace, u8160, u8120...) and on mix of MIUIv4 builds in xda.

Version 0.8 Preview U8160/U8180 released and also 0.2 for other models!!!

How to install (for all models):

1) Download the ROM
2) Copy the ZIP to MicroSD
3) Reboot in CWM
4) Make a Full Wipe (factory reset, mounts & storage > format /system, advanced > wipe Dalvik cache)
5) Mount /data and /system in mounts & storage (only for be sure)
6) Choose zip from sdcard, install zip from sdcard, choose the ZIP you downloaded
7) Wait then fix permissions
8) Reboot
9) Wait boot (can be long) and Enjoy!!!

- Tip for smoother animations: Set in launcher settings, wallpaper scrool types > Center (so disabled wallpaper scrolling) and in Spare Parts set windows and transitions animations > fast + enable fancy input animation.
- Tip for performance and more smoothness: Set in No-Frills Cpu Control App cpu > MAX 691 (or more if your phone is stable) MHz, MIN 245 MHz and I/O Scheduler > Noop then apply, also at boot

Good work I try it

wifi and bluetooth is the only problem i've got ( on my try to port it )
it's good that someone start miui v4 porting for u8160 , and nice bootscreen
if i fix something , i reply at this thread

New version this evening or tomorrow with less lag and other.
I'm also trying Wildfire miuiv4 port so... stay tuned

UPDATE: New version based on 2.7.20 in testing. Wildfire port have some problems so will be postponed

i have a miui port for u8180.. i believe i can port for u8150 as well. mine has everything working apart from camera which is partially working. (no preview.)

I will give a go to get the WiFi working as well as Bluetooth.

OKay, Wifi, keeps looping, Bluetooth turns on for a minute then turns back off, giving off an error.

All else works fine, great rom fast but gets buggy, Set CPU is force closing?

I dont know if setcpu fc as no one tried it. Krish , do you want to be a tester ? If yes contact me on PM.
