Default [Q] Questions regarding partitions layout

hi all.

first off, i did use search but the info i was searching was all over the place and did not answer all of my questions. and they are:

1. stock bravo partitions are as follows: 250-40-147, if i'm not mistaken? why does titanium backup show system 262MB, and solid explorer 250MB? which one should i believe?
2. if i'm to create custom hboot for my installed rom (stock prerooted odexed GB), can i also shrink cache to say 5MB, and transfer the rest into data? would it make problems with installing apps from play store, or from .apk's on SD (since it's stock rom)?

for third question little info first. currently i've got 204MB occupied out of 250MB (as it's shown in solid explorer), or 214MB free out of 262MB (as it's shown in Titanium backup). i've trimmed the rom to my liking (unneeded apps, widgets, wallpapers, ringtones, HTC IME) and this is the free space i've gained. obviously it would be great if i could transfer that space into data partition.

3. is it possible to make nandroid backup and restore it to custom made hboot? (i think i found that it is, but confirmation doesn't hurt )
4. does anybody have working 210 or 220MB system hboot? i'm a bit scared that i could brick my device, since thalamus said it could happen if the hboot generator produces faulty hboot (there is a way to check, i know, but still...)

thx in advance, people!

My sig theres hboots and no a nandroid doesnt backup nor restore hboot. So do a nandroid backup, full wipe, change hboots, full wipe again then restore nandroid.

thx, mate. that's what I thought, restore nandroid INTO custom hboot which was flashed before that.

EDIT: it worked. a lot of free space now in combination with stability and smoothness of stock GB. thx again! cheers!
