As I'm on a short break and away from my pc i really wanted a zip to work but still on 4.13 after flashing via twrp and cwm. No biggie, I just have to wait until I'm back home to update

Instead of using CWM, I use fastboot.

fastboot flash bootloader 4.18.img

Took 10+ seconds on my Nexus 7, a little bit longer than I thought.
But the update is successful, now I am on 4.18, and stay unlocked.

For some reason my computer wont recognize my n7, is there a Way with terminal?

I'm probably completely wrong, but is the filename you've used okay? 4.18.img

Can you have a filename with 2 decimal points in it like that?

fastboot flashing the bootloader worked perfectly for me. thanks azoller.

i might give up on this, fastboot flashing is just as easy and a lot safer, ill post instructions for fastboot flashing instead of a CWM flashable zip

zip still doesn't work. can't you copy the updater script from previous boot loader zips?

well yeah i did that then modified it but it didnt work, so if you guys really want this you might have to ask sparksco he is smarter than me
