the stock firmware i have is signed with keys for developer (red) devices... even if u have the full FTF the bootloader on retail devices will not accept it...

hence unlock bootloader (if possible) and enjoy

Thanx for clarifying it... unfortunately i found XDA only after buying XS. . Anyway networks not working, i need to make calls as its the only phone i have till i get hands on XZ....
