For those with PJ8310000 Model IDs, do it anyway. That zip works regardless of One X/XL Model ID.
I tried it and am now S-Off'd. My Model ID is PJ8310000.

Just remember to take a look at your phone prior to the last step. You may have to grant SU access prior to the final adb reboot bootloader...almost had a heartattack
