Has anyone had an issue with their razr maxx hd when holding their phone between their shoulder and their head? Sometimes it will be perfect and sometimes it sounds like i'm "in a tunnel" as people describe it? I'm not covering the mic should i take it back and get another one? I had the same problem with the first one i had but that was SOOO much worse. Any help would be appreciated.

Some phones use dual microphones where one tracks ambient sounds and do noise cancellation so the person on the other side of the line can hear you even in really noisy environments. If you put the phone between your head and shoulder you're you might be muting the one on the back, so you get the muffled sound.

Hold power and volume down until it resets. Mine does this every now and then, hard reboot fixes it.
