[Q] The best way to root the HTC DNA ??

Ive seen different ways listed in the forums here but what is the best way to root the DNA? Im not looked to flash a new ROM to it yet, I just simply want to root it...

There's really only one way. To preface it, you can not be on the ota. If you are then you can't root it.

Run the cid apk to change your Cid. This is on the original development forum.

Then go to htcdev and unlock your bootloader.

Now you can flash a custom recovery and then flash a superuser package.

If you updated to latest OTA then the root won't work. Here is a easy to follow guide. http://goo.gl/ZVurY
