[Q] Stereo recording on Nexus S supported?

Looking to use a usb adapter to record stereo onto my Nexus S. Does Nexus support stereo recording? I know the Galaxy S1/S2 and Note1 don't, but Galaxy S2 and Note2 do... Want to know before I go buy wacky cables to find out it won't work.

Rec is mono and the NS won't make use of any USB adapter because they're not supported and because it doesn't support OTG
