Default WALLABY Bootloader Wipes My Internal Ram Is This Normal ?

I live in the UK and have the newest XDA version avalable here 64Mb I also have a 128Mb MMC Card. But when I put my XDA into the WALLABY Bootloader it resets my XDA and wipes the internal memory back to factory default. So I have to reinstall my software and contact infomation. Is this normal ? I wanted to unlock my XDA so before I got my serial lead just wanted to check I could get it into the Wallaby boot loader, I could but When I reset set my XDA It when back to the setting up the screen and running the O2 auto setup. As if I had pressed the battery hard reset. When my serial cable came (www.partmaster.co.uk £14.99+p&p for uk people) I used your excellent software to unlock the XDA but again on exit my main memory was wiped. But my XDA remained unlocked. So is this just me with this feature ?

I tried it twice, when I tried to show it to my friend, it wiped out all data in RAM. Then I came home and before I reloaded everything, I just synced and tried it again. Data remained intact.
I have no explanation on this :)
