You just won the 'hardest to understand question' contest. If the question is 'what happens if I do a hard reset?', the answer is 'you lose everything you put in except ROM updates, and you're left with the device in the same state you got it in.

There is no other way to do a hard reset other then sticking that pen up the xda's ass

lol funny thread
unscrew your stylus and poke the little hole next to the earphone jack that will cause a hard reset (if that was your q) :?

I wrote in the other post below that can not create SD-key for V5.17( I did not help), want to hope can hard reset by other way I shall help. :?

there must be a lower level of reset - I dropped my XDA down a flight of stairs, killed it stone dead. Got it home, put it in the cradle, and it came back, but completely blank - no contacts, no settings, no flash memory - nothing. Now, I'm not going to replicate this, but wiping the flash may be useful sometimes, if it could be done in a controlled manner.
