Just dial the following keys *#197328640#

Main Menu
[1] UMTS
[1] Debug Screen
[8] Phone Control
[6] Network Lock
Options [3]Perso SHA256 OFF
(after choosing this option, wait about 30 seconds, then go back one step by pressing the Menu button then select Back, now you are in
[6] Network Lock then choose
[4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ ..... wait for a minute then reboot your phone

Don't pay high unlocking fee's on eBay! Say no to them with a big smile

Sorry I didn't search, I should search in the future before posting something. But I also wanted to show a video tutorial of the unlocking. Thanks.

I did this y'day. Tested today with my colleagues T-Mobile sim. It connected to T-Mobile network without any hassle. It was missing proper APN so it connected to edge only.

Tried the same on my wife's rooted stock (4.0.4), and it didn't work.

So like the original post (not OP) states, you have to be on 4.1.1.

hi, it said menu not exist when i tap network lock on sgs3

The point of these threads is to unlock for free.. We know you can pay 10-30$ in other places, if we were interested in that these post would be useless..... You can even unlock for free by calling your carrier. No need to pay
