Default SMS Backup
Can anybody tell me (and other xda users as well) how I can copy and backup SMS files from my xda (to PC via synch cable or to SD/Multimedia Card.

have a look at http://www.yorch.net/. Goto Software and have a look at the SMS Export tool.
