Default GPRS fails with RSU 4.20 4.21

After upgrading my O2 XDA 64Mb (was 32MB upgraded by expansys), it no longer connects to GPRS.

I have tried both the mobile web and wap connections, but the message i get is

"There is not answer at the number dialed. Verify phone number and then try again. To chage your connection settings, tap Settings. If the problem continues, contact your ISP or network administrator."

This was a 'clean' upgrade (ie. I haven't restored any backup after the reset). I am now on 3.17/4.21 ENG O2 versions.

Any help appreciated.
regards

When you say "after upgrading" do you mean after a ROM upgrade, or after the memory upgrade?

This could be nightmare cos (as i'm sure you know) the memory upgrade will have voided your warranty. If its happening straight after the memory upgrade then maybe you can go back to expansys and get them to pay for fixing it if they are responsible.

If it has happened after the ROM upgrade then check if all setting have gone back into the device. The error message sounds like settings.

It was since installing the RSU upgrade. I thought about settings, but I have done autoconfigure - and not changed anything else. I've check the AP name, and speed etc. What else?
