XDA and XDA II connectors

Are the XDA and XDA II connectors the same ? Can I use my power cable, USB cable of the XDA for the XDA II ? :?:

from what i can tell the connection on the xda II is the same as the xda but the xda is too big to actually fit in the xda II's cradle. The charger connecters are different so you can't use either

I can buy mda2 but without any accesories so my question is->can i use cradle from mda for mdaII(yoc81 wrote that mda doesn´t fit in mdaII cradle but would it work this way?)

It does go in if you jam it in really hard. But I did this only once, and doing so repeatbedly will scratch the device.
