Default Total Call duration (incoming/outgoing) reset?

How do I reset the call timers of incoming and outgoing under Settings -> System -> Device Information -> Call Duration

There is simply no option for me to reset it.

If i will to use the XDA Manipulator, I will need to get a serial cable just for the sake of resetting the timer.

Is there other alternative beside using the XDA Manipulator? All I want is to keep track of my mthly incoming/outgoing call time.

have a look here http://www.tekguru.co.uk/phpBB2/index.php?article=494

it's not exactly what you were looking for no doubt and to be honest I ahve not tried it yet, but the principle is sound.

ARGH! I'm completely sick and tired of meddling with all options given to me to monitor the call duration.

I have decided to get myself a serial sync cable with the XDA Manipulator just for the sake of monitoring my total call duration.

Just before I did that, I have a few questions.
1) What kind of serial sync cable must I get? Can the XDA serial cable works?

2) Do I need to hard reset my XDA II whenever I access the XDA Manipulator window? Is it that all I need to do is sync the PDA with the serial cable connected to my PC just like how the USB works?

Thanks

Donīt know how (and if) the xda manipulator works with the XDA II.
At the old xda devices entering the bootloader performs a hard reset. so, all data will be lost.

Maybe the manipulator isnīt the right choice for you. (I donīt know how often you will reset the timers...)

Using serial cable is the same like using usb cable. Main difference ist, that the battery wonīt be charged with the serial.

Regards

Stefan

I will have to reset the call duration every 1st day of the month. I wouldn't want to hard reset mthly just for the sake of the call duration.

Why can't O2 have an option for us, consumer to reset the damn thing!!!

Pardon me for pointing out the obvious but why don't you just hit the big reset button on the screen when you're looking at the Call Duration.

From the phone screen...Call History.....Tools......Call Timers.......RESET!

Mine works fine.
