Jog Button on XDA II

I have been using the Developers 1.2 Rom for a few months on my old XDA and I loved it. One of my favourite features was jog button as it allowed you to run any application (in my case an excel file). I have tried to load up Jog Button on my XDA II but it seems to hang. Is anyone else using it ok on an XDA II, or does anyone know of an app which allows you to map an excel file (rather than excel) directly to a button.

Hmmm, I found Button Plus 2 and tried that, but it seems to suffer from inconsistent locking up. I also couldn't figure out how to link directly to a file rather than an app, but that's probably because I am stupid. Are others using Button Plus 2 ok with an XDA II?
