Default Good camera that uses SD storage?

I'm kind of in the market for a new digital camera, and I'd like one that uses SD cards (then I can take pictures and plop the card into my PPC Phone and email them and do all sorts of stuff!

Anyone have recommendations for a good medium priced camera? Say $199-299?

Hey GregP74,

Take a look at the HP photosmart line, I have and use the 320, 2.1 MP with 4x digital zoom ($100 - $149). Oh ya it also does video clips. 8)

Oh man that one is sweet...nice and small too! Gotta love a cam you can keep in your shirt pocket for have-to-record-moments (like when the gal across the bar is flashing you  )

looks just like the Digital IXUS II and the specs are the same so I think this is the same camera. It is fantastic the picture quality is superb and even though is small the LCD is still a good size and works well in any ligh condition I have tried it in so far. With a 128 SD I can get over 130 pictures before I run out of space

yeah it's design is ok imho
plus that it dont break all that easy

i've drop'd mine on a stone floor more then once
without it getting a scratch

and if you need to you can swing it in the strap as a weapon

though i hate the software not sure about the newer ones but
my ixus v2 need canon software to download the pictures

that is of cause unless i have a flash reader
i pref cams which emulate usb storage controllers so you can avoid
using some "easy" to use program
