Safety Lanyard for Tmobile/SX 56 devices

I’m looking for a lanyard (cord) that would securely attach to my T-mobile in some way and then to my belt loop, kind of like the wallet chains you see some people wearing. The goal would be to stop the device from hitting the ground if it slips out of my hands. Does anyone know of a product like this or have any suggestions how I could do this.
