means its not carrier branded like vodafone airtel etc

I downloaded this ftf yesterday how is it that its 500MB approx when other ftfs are around 700MB.
I want to.confirm before flashing this

Wait did u say 500mb .......redownload it's 764 mb

I am currently on .253 Indian firmware so to root I have to go back to .434. Just wanted to ask whether flashing this .ftf will be alright?

The file I Downloaded is 800 MB in size and has a .bin format

How can i convert it to FTF format?
