Help Newbie with a problem xda

Hi Group
I have an O2 xda 64MB type original,
It has just stopped working basically , it appears that there is not charge left in the battery and it will not charge in the cradle or via the lead only. There is no light or signal.
The phone will also not work and the backlight comes on and off intermittent.
on the battery power meter it says unknown on mains power
As of yesterday it was working fine, have no idea what has happened any ideas
Can it just be a battery problem and if so can u get new batteries or is it condemmed
The unit is not covered by guarantee as i bought it off e bay .....

I had mine repaired under warranty. When I rang the o2 xda warranty place they didn't even ask any details like where I bought it, account number etc.

I'd recommend ringing them and see if you can blag a free repair. The nubmer is 0808 1003427.
