Default wooooowwwww!

Peter,

This is the fastest response i have ever seen in my life. I requested this layout less than a week ago!!!.

What can I say ... the team here is a perfect model for many 'said to be' great companies like M$

I didn't check the new layout yet to comment .. just wanted thank you first.

Just did, using WAP. The start page loads fine, but whenever I want to change into a specific forum area, PocketIE just says "the page you requested is too big". Anything I can do about that?

Cheers

I never use WAP, so I wouldn't know. I've tested the site browsing from my XDAII.

What it does is override the user's style setting with the 'mobile' style that I made when it detects the string '320x240' in the USER_AGENT string from the browser. This mobile style skips some images and backgrounds, and use a much more vertically oriented layout. All the important pages are made to fit the width of the PcoketPC screen.

So did I, but using the 'wsp://' prefix in PIE. The reason is simply that WAP traffic is free with my O2 flatrate plan, while HTTP costs real money!

Knowing Microsoft, the maximum page size should be somewhere in registry. I'll try to find it!

Anyway, many thanks for providing the "narrow" layout! Excellent work!

Cheers
Daniel

Default Thumbs up!

Mate, that looks excellent. I just sit here melting in the Aussie summer... Only disadvantage are my slippery fingers
Cheers
