Small chipcard inside GSM mobile phones. Holds the subscription data and authenticates the user to the network.

SIM is the abbrevation of Subscriber Identity Module . it Hold the IMSE (International Mobile Subscriber Identity ) and TMSI (Temparery Mobile Subscriber Identity)
