Hi, I bought a tablet chinnese tablet. and was looking for a way to root it.
tried with a lot of methods, and was thinking of droping the topic. but decide to try with a pack
that an user in other forum said that worked for a Softwinners 7" A13 Tablet, seeing that it was the
same manufacturer, same screen size, I said, well let's try it and it worked for me, so here is the pack.

well, after a few days of search... I have found more info about the tablet. or at least that's what I think

tablet name: LY-F8

side notes:
1- haven't found a compatibly CMW.
2- haven't tried any of the "original firmware" from the website. but I have a dump of the firmware that I made using the tool of the first post, not useful if you can't boot into the system. but there is a workaround that worked for me.

nice ive found my ly-f8as firmware on that sites too...but yes no cwm recovery work at the moment for this type..after flash the firmware dont even think to go into recovery
coz itll not boot..somehow it wont mount extsd/sd

Have you found the stock rom of your tablet ? I have a device that is a clone of your tablet but i can't find any rom of my device. Can you share your back up of your rom ? Tks u.

And one more problem : Do you know how to switch mobile network from 3G to 2G ? I tried this option in Settings but it didn't work

I tried to root my AllWinner tablet and after rooting the touch screen doest work anymore, if you have the same problem, just ReRoot your tablet with VROOT

Dear masters

I have exactly this tab. but this stock Rom is not working. livesuit says error 162. then I tried to flash by memory card through burning the Rom by phoenix care. then got "sprite error". I am requesting your kind help.

can someone please give me the image file for the LYF8 as it is no longer being offered by the developer site ....


I request if someone has a working L36 tablet with the Ubuntu base please make back up and give to us .
