02 XDA 2 (UK) PrePaid - You just can't tap it!

I'm at last a proud owner of my very own XDA 2. The problem is, I cannot use it as a phone.

The phone arrived this morning, along with a pay-as-you-go sim which I got seperately. I put the sim in the phone, turned it on and then was presented with the 02 screen which asks you to select a few options as below:

Select Country:
[ ] Germany
[ ] Ireland
[ ] UK

Select Service:
[ ] PrePaid [ ] GSM
[ ] PostPaid [ ] GPRS

The trouble is, I can't select prepaid. It just doesn't let me - unless I select Ireland. Is there any way to select the UK and PrePaid together? Is it possible to update my ROM to get around this?

It doesnt matter that you cant choose prepaid, I have the same, the phone still works ok, you just have to enter the payg information for internet/wap.

Ahh, excellent. Thanks for that info. I was actually holding out on topping up as I didn't know if my money would go down a black hole or something :P
