Louder ring tones

Can anyone advise me how to get my PDAII to increase its ring-volume working in a high noise area I need a loud ring. The "loud" setting on the phone is insufficient. I may need to download a "loud" tone - advice please

if it's wav, mp3 or wma it's easy
just take the ring tone file you want to use
to the pc and use an audio editor to inc the volume of the
file
