Recommendations for screen protectors for the XDA2

Does anyone have any recommendations for screen protectors that fit an XDA2? I've tried a few of the local electronic/gadget shops with no success.

I find using the phone with the stylus a bit of a fiddle and would prefer to just tap with my finger, but that leaves greasy finger prints on the screen. Also what do people use to clean the screen?

Ebay is the only place I found, go to www.ebay.co.uk and search for xda. Dont use the 12 packs, the reusable, washable are best.

I have used WriteSHIELD by PocketPcTechs on booth my XDA1 and XDA2 satisfactorily

hi m8,

i have just put a screen protector on a friend xda2 and now the screen does not respond to the stylus..

any ideas what i need to do???

Zetex, remove the protecter and make sure when you replace it that it doesnt go right to the very edges, a tiny gap is needed.

got mine from brando... they are thicker then some may like... but perfect for me since i leave my xdaII in a pocket stuffed with keys coins etc. Responds well to stylus. Very very durable... well worth every penny. http://shop.brando.com.hk/

Screen protector

I have used a sheet of overhead projector acetate as a screen protector. Just get a sheet A4 size and cut it to a few mm oversize of the length of the screen and it slides in a treat. They are easilly replacecable as the A4 sheet costs pennies. I have been using them for a while now and when they get scratched or smudged from grease from the use of the phone just pop in another one. I always carry 2 or three in my brief case.

I really like the screen protectors from proporta.com. I had one on my m1000 and I've just bought a new one for my xda 2s. They're great because they make the screen easier to write on, and they are washable as well so any marks or grease can just be washed off!

what a neat idea; i tried it out and it works! i normally use nushield screen protectors; no adhesives and it's held in place by slipping the four sides under the screen borders. i took out the old one and cut off a piece with the same shape using the transparency. not bad at all...and cheap too! tons of them in the office.
