Default Resco Audio Recorder - exporting RAF sound files on a PC

Hello all,

I have been trialling Resco Audio Recorder (http://www.resco-net.com) to record meetings on the XDA, and I've found it to be quite well suited to this task.

I have discovered, however, that should a meeting extend beyond an hour or so, the resulting file cannot be converted from the proprietary RAF file type to WAV or anything usable with the built-in export function due to space concerns.

I found a newsgroup posting (http://www.ppczone.net/forum/showthr...p?threadid=143) which mentioned a PC export utility from Resco which I have managed to get (attached).

If you record meetings, I can recommend this product and the attached RAF-to-WAV conversion utility.

Codenix.

Default THANK YOU!!!

Thank you Codenix

I had recorded over 3 hours worth of some important discussions and not knowing that resco has a 34 min 40-odd seconds limit for exporting .raf audio into mp3/wav. It is still evident in their v4.0+. Their forums weren't helpful addressing this issue either or very few people actually experienced this.

The utility you attached was a life-saver! Thanks!

I have been able to salvage my .raf

Lifesaver. Thought I'd have to go convert within RAR. Thank you very much
